yesterday was a wonderful day! i feel as though i’m making real progress on my thesis and am nearing the finish line once this next robin scene is complete. Timber and i went to the zoo and i was able to draw many of the birds in the bird house. i found drawing animals when they are moving is a lot more fun than when their still; because when you look up from your sketch book you have to find them again, and you get to see them in a new angle. so in one drawing i’ve seen 5 different angles of the animal and understand it a bit better. the artcic fox was still by himself, so the female must still be in the nursery…i think she’s having kits! i can’t wait to see them, arctic fox kits are so cute and i’ve only ever seen pictures in books of them. i also got to draw the male lion brothers, they were both asleep though, so i got a bunch of lion feet details and one facial where his face was smooshed up against the ground. 

the Lisney party was last night too! i’ve never really been able to hang out around many of classmates outside of school before, it was so much fun! there were these cupcakes there too that were really good too <3. i’m glad that we were able to take the night off together, everyone’s been working so hard and seemed to have been stressed out. thank you for inviting me Lindsey! i’m so glad i got to come!
